Event spaces

The Boschera room is located in the buildings along the western side of the garden. Formerly intended for storing wood for winter heating, it is suitable for small events (30-40 people).

Conferences, study meetings, workshops or a lunch/dinner with friends. The room is equipped with a video projector, screen and audio system.

The formal (“Italian”) garden is the heart of the property. Its geometric flowerbeds create four green rooms, an ideal space for an aperitif, a dinner or a moment of relaxation in company. The flowerbeds are bordered to the east by a high wall of yews, the true protagonist of the garden.

Throughout the year, the formal garden offers, for each season, a different scenography: tulip bulbs, daffodils or muscari in spring, roses and marigolds in summer, without forgetting the rows of grapes full of bunches that delimit the flowerbeds to the west in autumn.

The Boschetto is our secret garden, an unexpected space which is accessed through two openings in the yew wall.

Here the environment changes completely, offering, especially in the summer period, a cool and shaded place, ideal for meetings, physical activities related to well-being (yoga, meditation, gymnastics), concerts. The particular shape of the space offers excellent acoustics, transforming the grove into a natural theatre.

Il piazzale, luogo di accoglienza degli ospiti, prospiciente la facciata nobile della villa, è un vasto spazio utilizzato per la maggior parte degli eventi organizzati da Casa Lajolo.

È un luogo ampio, che può ospitare gruppi numerosi, cerimonie importanti o anche solo una romantica cena per due… con vista sul giardino!

Il prato degli ulivi è uno spazio rustico, anticamente destinato a frutteto, che da più di una decina d’anni è coltivato a ulivi. È il luogo ideale per un pic-nic tra amici o in famiglia, spesso destinato alle attività per i bambini.

È qui che è collocata la nostra collezione di Iris comprendente 19 varietà di questo vistoso fiore che, nel linguaggio dei fiori, comunica sentimenti di amicizia e di fiducia. Di buon auspicio per un pomeriggio in compagnia!

Casa Lajolo è una casa, non un museo, come spesso amiamo ripetere. Le sue sale sono abitualmente vissute dai proprietari, per quanto il piano terra sia stato destinato in particolare, alle visite guidate.

Le sale del piano terra sono disponibili per l’organizzazione di eventi o di pranzi/cene privati. Uno spazio accogliente, dove ovunque si respira la storia di una famiglia che si è intrecciata alla Storia con la S maiuscola, quella di tutto il territorio.
